I am so glad you have made your way here! I have a passion for walking alongside children, teens and young adults as they seek to solve the problems that are effecting their corners and navigate the often confusing world of mental health. Growing up and finding your place in this world can be hard, but no one should suffer alone, especially our youth. My mission is to provide therapeutic support to children, teenagers, young adults and their families. This can range from a five-year-old who is struggling with her parents’ recent divorce, a fourteen-year-old needing stronger coping skills as he tries to overcome a bullying situation, an 18 year old in the middle of his first semester in college struggling with overwhelm and anxiety, a 21-year-old battling ADHD that interferes with her career goals and to a parent who desperately wants to strengthen their relationship with their kids.
With a background in foster care agency work, I bring extensive experience working with children of all ages and backgrounds. Having walked the path of parenthood with four children of my own, ages 18, 15, 11, and 10, I understand the unique challenges and joys of parenting and growing up in our complex society. I have a knack for connecting with children of all ages and entering into THEIR world. I speak both “teen” and “parent” which helps us break down barriers to communication. My ultimate goal is to help children, teens and families live happier lives.
